The total grade points of all participants from each individual school will be summed up. Subsequently, the score will be averaged by the total number of participants from the school.
Please refer to the following illustration for Edenlite School:
Edenlite School has 10 participants and these are the results:
| S/N | Name of Participant | Score | Grade Points |
| 1 | Melvin Tay | 56 | 1 |
| 2 | Jasper Koh | 75 | 3 |
| 3 | Clarissa Toh | 63 | 2 |
| 4 | Timothy Ng | 84 | 4 |
| 5 | Sandra Goh | 91 | 5 |
| 6 | Raynard Lee | 64 | 2 |
| 7 | Luke Chew | 73 | 3 |
| 8 | Terence Hoo | 82 | 4 |
| 9 | James Lai | 95 | 5 |
| 10 | Lydia Loh | 89 | 4 |
Grade Point Average (GPA) = Total Grade Points / Total number of Participants per school
Total Grade Points: 1 + 3 + 2 + 4 + 5 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 4 = 33
GPA: 33 points / 10 participants = 3.3
Therefore, we can conclude that Edenlite School scored a total GPA of 3.3. This score will be evaluated against other schools, and the school with the highest GPA will emerge as winner.
